More than 1,000 donor-funded scholarships support Fordham students every year–including 188 scholarship funds that have been created during Fordham’s Cura Personalis Campaign.
Fordham’s annual Scholarship Donors and Recipients Reception, held on April 8 at The University Club, continued the University’s cherished tradition of celebrating our generous donors and the achievements of the scholars they support. The event offers scholars a chance to express their gratitude directly and gives donors the opportunity to witness the tangible impact of their contributions.
At the reception, Fordham senior Brooke Gould expressed her gratitude on behalf of all scholarship recipients.
“The academic, athletic, personal, and professional opportunities that Fordham has provided me with have been absolutely invaluable,” she said. “Without scholarship support, I would not have had the privilege to be a part of my beloved rowing team and help lead the squad toward our goals this year. I would not have expanded my thinking, shaped by a diverse course load that allowed me to see the city in a whole new way, and I would not go forth with these abilities and fond memories as I am so fortunate to be able to do now.”
