The Allstate Foundation College Service Grants 2026–2027 are now open, offering a unique funding opportunity for U.S. colleges and universities committed to advancing youth-led, youth-driven service on campus. Through this program, selected institutions receive $10,000 grants to empower students to design, lead, and expand service initiatives that positively impact their communities.
The grants are part of The Allstate Foundation’s youth empowerment strategy and are delivered in partnership with the Center for Expanding Leadership & Opportunity (CELO). Together, they aim to redefine youth service for a new generation by placing leadership, agency, and decision-making power directly in the hands of young people.
To date, The Allstate Foundation College Service Grants have distributed more than $2 million to support student-driven service initiatives across the United States.

What Are the Allstate Foundation College Service Grants 2026–2027?
The Allstate Foundation College Service Grants 2026–2027 provide funding to colleges and universities to strengthen and expand youth-led service experiences on campus. While students play a central role in designing and implementing initiatives, institutions must apply directly and manage the funds through an appropriate administrative mechanism, such as a campus foundation or grants office.
Funded initiatives fall into one of the following categories:

Microgrants: Direct funding provided to students to launch new youth-led service initiatives

Access Support: Programs that increase student access to service opportunities

Increasing Impact: Initiatives that enhance the depth and effectiveness of existing youth-led service activities
This flexible structure allows institutions to tailor projects to their campus needs while maintaining a strong focus on student leadership.
Who Is Eligible to Apply
Eligibility for the Allstate Foundation College Service Grants 2026–2027 is limited to:

Accredited U.S. colleges and universities

Institutions supporting youth-led, youth-driven service initiatives
Student organizations are encouraged to participate, but applications must be submitted through the institution. Independent nonprofits and 501(c)(3) organizations are not eligible to apply directly.
Due to funding timelines, summer programs are not eligible under the 2026–2027 grant cycle.
