The Chemical Coaters Association International Finishing Education Foundation (CCAI FEF) has announced this year’s scholarship recipients. Since 1992, the Matt Heuertz Scholarship Fund has provided financial awards to students enrolled in programs that could lead to a career in coatings and finishing.
CCAI FEF awarded a total of $17,000 in scholarships to 11 deserving students. In addition to cash awards sent to the student’s school account, each scholarship recipient receives a one-year student membership in CCAI.
The board of directors selected Scott Andreae, University of Wisconsin-Stout, to receive the Jim Gallagher Scholarship, awarded to the highest scoring applicant.
