The Gainesville chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. hosted its annual Christmas party to help raise funds for college scholarships distributed to local students.
Held Saturday evening at the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Services Extension in Newberry, the party is one of three events the fraternity hosts annually to raise funds for the scholarships.
The three fundraisers this year will fund five $1,000 scholarships that will be processed by the Education Foundation of Alachua County, said Terry Lee, the chapters polemarch (president).
