CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) – On July 9, Halladay Motors donated $20,000 dollars to youth alternatives for their scholarship program.
“We’ve been able to provide 45 scholarships to youth that have gone through our program, the kids that have gone through our programs have went anywhere from Oregon State, to the University of Utah, to obviously the University of Wyoming,” said Brooks Cotton, Assistant Director for Youth Alternatives.
Youth Alternatives is a city program that provides services to youth and families.
Their motto is to empower youth and families for a stronger community.
They have had a partnership with Halladay Motors for the last 8 years.
“What they do over here at youth alternatives has changed peoples lives. We’re fortunate to have someone like brooks in our community, amongst all of his staff, looking out for the welfare, and looking to give these kids opportunities and change the direction of their lives. We’re just happy to be a very small part of it,” said Shawn Smith, General Manager for Halladay Motors.
Youth Alternatives says they are grateful for the continued support of Halladay.
