Manning Farmer wins Nuffield Canada Scholarship (Jolene Noble) – River Country 94.9
It’s a prestegous honour, but now the work starts to collect research data to expand business in the Ag. Industry.
Jolene Noble of Manning has received a $20,000 Scholarship from Nuffield Canada to look at stacking enterprises to increase opportunities, resiliency and profitability on the family farm.
The two-year thesis involves a travel period of 10-months to overseas areas. to collect data and network with officials in the Industry from abroad.
After being collected, the data is formed into a 10,000-word essay to present to Nuffield, and to execute on ht efamily farm.
Noble is one of four people to receive scholarships across Canada, along with one each from southern Alberta, Ontario and Quebec.
