The Government of India launched the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme 2024-25. The Ministry of Education announced this scholarship scheme to provide awards to all the students who belong to the economically weaker session of the society. With the help of this, the Government of India will ensure that the students will pursue higher education after completing class 8. All the meritorious students who will score good marks in the scholarship examination will receive financial assistance from the Government of India. All the Students who clear the eligibility criteria must visit the official website and fill out the application form online to avail the benefits of the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme 2024-25.
The Ministry of Education of India introduced the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme to help all the meritorious students of the country. With the help of this scholarship, the Government of India will encourage the students to focus more on their studies. All the applicants who will get selected under the scheme will receive financial assistance of INR 12000. The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the selected applicant’s bank account. All the students who are clearly promoted from class 8 to class 9 and have scored at least 55% marks are eligible to fill out the application form for the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme.

The main objective of launching the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme is to help financially unstable students to pursue higher education. With the help of this scheme, financially unstable students can pursue higher education without worrying about financial troubles. All the applicants who want to avail the benefits of the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship must fill out the application form before the last date which is 31st August 2024. The applicants can fill out the application form online in the comfort of their homes without using any government office.

STEP 1: All the applicants to clear the eligibility criteria can visit the official NSP website and fill out the application form to avail of the benefits of the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme.
STEP 2: Once the applicant reaches the home page of the official website the applicant must click on the option Apply for Scholarship.
STEP 3: A new page will appear on your desktop screen the applicant must enter their OTR number and password.
STEP 4: After entering their credentials the applicant must click on the option login.
STEP 5: The registration form will appear on your desktop the applicant must enter all the details that are asked and attach all the documents.
STEP 6: After entering all the details the applicant must quickly review it and click on the option submit to complete their process.
