The central government has started a great scheme for those children. Which we are going to discuss with you today in this post, let us tell you what the whole scheme is.
Under the National Means and Merit Scholarship Scheme, children studying in class 8 in government schools of Haryana will be given a scholarship of Rs 48,000 for 4 years. For this, students will have to take the exam. The schedule of the exam has been released.
This exam will be held on November 17. On passing this exam, Rs 12,000 will be given every year, i.e. one thousand rupees per month. Students will be given an allowance of Rs 48,000 in full 4 years.

Online applications for the exam can be made till October 10. All students who pass the exam will get scholarship. Students studying in class 8 in government schools can apply for this exam.
Block Education Officer Jilhe Singh said that the scholarship is to be given by the department as per reservation. The total annual income of the candidate’s parents from all sources should be less than Rs 3,50,000.
Selected students will get scholarship as per reservation at district level. In the exam, 16 percent reservation will be given to BC-A category, 11 percent to BC-B category, 20 percent to SC, 3 percent to Divyang category.
Students will have to upload a copy of the certificate issued by competent authorities along with the application form. On the basis of which they will get reservation.
