Furthermore, the curriculum addresses the role of microorganisms in our environment, identifying them as both beneficial and harmful, and explores significant topics such as air and water pollution, human development during adolescence, and animal reproductive processes.
The NMMS Mathematics exam syllabus encompasses various topics designed to test students’ mathematical prowess. It includes the study of Algebraic Expressions alongside their Identities, an exploration of Comparative Quantities, and a dive into the concepts of Cubes along with their roots. Additionally, it covers Data Analysis techniques the relationship between Direct & Inverse Ratios, and delves into the realm of Exponentiation and Powers. Students will also encounter factorization problems, get a primer on graphic representation, and tackle linear equations restricted to one unknown. The curriculum further extends to feed practical knowledge through Mensuration, explores constructing shapes with Practical Geometry, and revisits fundamentals such as Rational, Square and Square roots. Engaging with Quadrilaterals and Visual Geometry helps understand shapes and visualize geometric solid forms, rounding off a comprehensive mathematical framework.
The NMMS Social Studies curriculum encompasses various topics vital for understanding the complex web of societal, environmental, and political issues. It includes a study of agriculture’s role in society, the impact of colonialism on urban development, and the importance of human resources. Additionally, the syllabus delves into the significance of industries, the stewardship of land, soil, and water, and the conservation of natural vegetation and wildlife. Fundamental constitutional principles and the justice system are explored alongside exploration of mineral and power resources. The course also examines the narrative of tribal within the historical context, the Industrial Revolution’s effect on traditional artisans, the pivotal rebellion 1857, and the themes of gender and caste in social reform. Furthermore, students will explore the evolution of visual arts and gain insights into astronomy, focusing on stars and our solar system.
