Purdue Alumni Club scholarship winners announced recently include, from left, Lucas Sullivan, Max Barr, Kase Clevenger, Blake Strauss, Michael Bowerman and Jacob Rust.
ANDERSON — The Purdue Alumni Club of Anderson and Madison County has awarded $1,000 scholarships to four area students. Their selections were based on outstanding scholarship.
The winners are:
• Max Barr, son of Joseph Barr and Wendy Smedley. He is a graduate of Frankton High School.
• Kase Clevenger, son of Ty and Jessica Clevenger. He also is a graduate of Frankton High School.
• Blake Strauss, son of Robert and Alicia Strauss. He graduated from Pendleton Heights High School.
• Jacob Rust, son of Matt and Melissa Rust. He graduated from Anderson High School.
The recipients of the David Davis Purdue Memorial Scholarships of $1,000 are:
• Michael Bowerman, son of Sandra and Douglas Bowerman. He graduated from Madison Grant High School.
• Lucas Sullivan, son of Heather and Brian Sullivan. He graduated from Alexandria-Monroe High School.
