Three Red Hook High School students and one from Rhinebeck High School were named the winners of the 2024 Ruge Family Scholarship Fund.
The students were Mark Paschal, Sarah Holtman and Greg Gorga, all of Red Hook High School; and Carter Lewis of Rhinebeck High School.

The scholarship recipients were chosen following an application process with criteria stipulating that students must have plans to pursue further education or training in automotive studies or engineering. In addition, they must demonstrate an ongoing commitment to community service.
Kristin Ruge Hutchins, owner of Ruge’s Automotive, said in a press release, “On behalf of our entire team at Ruge’s, we are so pleased to recognize the work ethic and character of these four students by awarding them with well-deserved scholarships. And we extend our warmest wishes to all local graduates as they celebrate commencement and begin the next chapters of their lives.”
