Sussex County Community College (SCCC) in Newton, New Jersey, has received a $10,000 grant from the Gene Haas Foundation to support scholarships for students in its Machine Tool Technology program. This funding aims to help students succeed in the machining industry by reducing financial barriers.

Mark Harris from Allendale Machinery Systems presented the grant to SCCC’s President, Dr. Jon Connolly, and Stan Kula, Executive Director of the SCCC Foundation. Dr. Connolly expressed gratitude, stating, "The Gene Haas Foundation’s continued belief in our program highlights the importance of what we’re doing to prepare the next generation of skilled machinists."
