The Académie des Talents Méditerranéens (ATM) is launching its 2026 edition, a flagship program designed to reimagine the relationship between the two shores of the Mediterranean and unlock the potential of young changemakers across the region. The Academy brings together emerging leaders committed to building a shared, positive Mediterranean narrative and driving transformative, locally rooted initiatives.
About the Program
The Academy aims to:
- Shift perceptions of the Mediterranean by fostering collaboration and understanding
- Empower youth to develop high-impact, community-based projects
- Build a vibrant network of regional ambassadors
- Strengthen cross-cultural exchanges and solidarity
- Support a new, shared Mediterranean narrative through collective action
From March to October 2026, 25 selected talents will join an intensive and immersive experience combining online learning, project development, expert mentorship, and international meetings.
What the Program Offers
Weekly Development (2–4 hours per week)
- Online sessions exploring Mediterranean economic, social, cultural, and environmental challenges
- Inspiration from leading changemakers across the region
- Hands-on support to develop or scale impactful projects
Expert Support
- Personalized guidance from a diverse network of Mediterranean specialists
- Access to curated online resources and thematic learning tracks
Two In-Person Meetings
- North Africa (May 2026)
- Marseille (October 2026)
Engage in intercultural dialogue, peer learning, and workshops with regional innovators.
Additional Benefits
- A non-certifying completion certificate (70% attendance & 80% deliverables required)

Who Can Apply?
Applications are open to individuals who are:
- 20 to 40 years old
- Citizens of one of the 13 eligible countries:
France, Morocco, Spain, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Lebanon, Italy, Malta, Syria, Palestine, Turkey - Leading or contributing to a project with positive impact on the Mediterranean
- Proficient in English and/or French
- Committed to building a collaborative and inspiring Mediterranean future

Selection Process
- Application Review
Up to 200 candidates shortlisted. - Collective Bootcamp
100 candidates participate in workshops and submit an individual deliverable. - Individual Interviews
Up to 70 candidates interviewed. - Final Selection
25 participants chosen for the 2026 cohort.
A waiting list will be maintained to ensure a consistent group of 25 talents.
