Are you ready to embark on a life-changing journey and join a global network of change-makers? The 2024 Yale World Fellows Program is now accepting applications! Admission to the World Fellows Program is highly competitive, with thousands of applications pouring in from around the globe for only a handful of fellowships. Each cohort of Fellows is carefully curated to represent a diverse mix of talents, experiences, cultures, and perspectives from across the world.

HOW TO APPLY

If you have been in your professional career for between five and twenty-five years and have demonstrated significant achievements at the regional, national, or international level, you are a prime candidate for the World Fellows Program. The average age of a World Fellow is 39, but there are no strict age limits. Applicants must also be citizens of a country other than the United States, with a strong preference for those whose work is focused outside the U.S. Proficiency in English is crucial for successful participation in the program.

ELIGIBILITY

What to Expect? World Fellows are required to be in residence at Yale University in New Haven for the entirety of the program, which runs from mid-August through mid-December.

Selection Criteria Applicants must possess:

• An established record of extraordinary achievement and integrity.
• A commitment to creating a positive impact at the local, national, or international level.
• The promise of a future career in leadership with a notable global impact.
• A unique capacity for critical, creative, entrepreneurial, and strategic thinking.
• A commitment to a rigorous program of activities, full-time residence at Yale, and mentoring students.

Application Process Overview The application process is entirely online, with no paper forms or application fees. You can work on your application at your own pace and submit it when you are ready. The application requirements include a résumé or curriculum vitae, a personal statement, three letters of recommendation, and the option to submit a video statement. FUNDING

Compensation Package Accepted Fellows will receive a taxable stipend to cover living expenses in New Haven, a furnished apartment for the duration of the program, medical insurance, and round-trip travel from their home country.

Program Details The Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellows Program is a four-month, full-time residential program at Yale’s International Leadership Center, running annually from mid-August to mid-December.

The program offers a range of activities, including weekly seminars, salon discussions with distinguished guests, personal development through coaching and skills training, and opportunities to give talks and participate in panels. World Fellows also mentor Yale students and expand their global network by connecting with peers and faculty.
