HARRISBURG, Pa. — The 25th annual Farm Show Scholarship Foundation Breakfast was held Tuesday, Jan. 7, during the Pennsylvania Farm Show. Twenty-four scholarships were awarded this year, including the two-millionth dollar given since the Pennsylvania Farm Show Scholarship Foundation was established in 1993.
The 2025 scholarship recipients are:
Jordan Anderson – Centre Hall, Centre County
Serena Anderson – Dunbar, Fayette County
Caleb Antram – Somerset, Somerset County
Kiersten Baker – James Creek, Huntingdon County
Patience Batterson – Coudersport, Potter County
Avah Burke – Emlenton, Venango County
Jared Frantz – Mount Pleasant Mills, Snyder County
Chelsey Freyermuth – Meadville, Crawford County
Addison Heeter – Clarksburg, Indiana County
Emma Heeter – Clarksburg, Indiana County
Olivia Kaltenbach – New Castle, Lawrence County
Jack Kowalewski – Clifford Township, Susquehanna County
Trey Meyers – Bedford, Bedford County
Abigail Nissley – Middletown, Dauphin County
Mollilyn Petro – Catawissa, Columbia County
Caleb Roth – Quakertown, Bucks County
Kiersten Sabolsky – Halifax, Dauphin County
Erin Shuey – Jonestown, Lebanon County
Mason Smith – Lewisburg, Union County
Cora Stine – Hatfield, Montgomery County
Alex Empet – Kingsley, Susquehanna County

Recipients were honored at the breakfast and during the Sale of Champions, the proceeds of which benefit the PFSSF. Each of the 24 recipients was awarded $5,000 by the foundation, with an additional $1,000 donation from Bill McCauley. Students from Penn State University and Delaware Valley Universities enrolled in the colleges of Agricultural Sciences received an additional $2,000.
To qualify, recipients must have exhibited a project at the Pennsylvania Farm Show within the past 10 years, been a current or former member of 4-H or FFA, and enrolled in a post-secondary degree or certification program.
