Economic Implications of Stranded Assets – Post-doc Research Fellow

OVERVIEW

This project aims to carry out economic analysis and projections that will enable governments to assess and manage stranded assets risk and mitigate future losses while supporting green transition planning.

OBJECTIVES

Quantify stranded fossil fuels
Develop a risk matrix
Carry out economic modeling to compare transition pathways
identify diversification opportunities

REQUIREMENTS

> Ph.D. degree in Environmental Economics, Climate Science, Macroeconomics, Agricultural Economics, or a similar Area
> Minimum 3 years experience in energy and environmental economics
> Proficient in statisical research tools – STATA, SPSS, PSPP, GIS
> Experinece with economic modelling
