The World Health Organization (WHO) invites participants to register for the Sixth Global School on Refugee and Migrant Health, a flagship capacity-building program designed to strengthen leadership and collaboration in health and migration. This year’s theme focuses on how leadership across countries can drive policies and actions that promote equitable, inclusive, and resilient health systems for refugees and migrants.

With more than one billion people on the move globally, health systems must adapt to ensure refugees and migrants receive timely, culturally sensitive, and accessible health services. The Global School provides a platform to discuss these challenges, share innovative approaches, and highlight evidence-based practices that advance health for all.

The three-day program will include:
- High-level discussions on leadership, policy and governance in refugee and migrant health
- Interactive panels with global, regional, national and community leaders
- Country case studies showcasing practical experiences and innovative solutions
- Dialogue on strengthening coordination across sectors to support inclusive health systems
- Evidence-based sessions on Universal Health Coverage (UHC), service integration, and resilience
Participants who attend the full online program will receive a certificate.
In-person participation in Geneva is by invitation only, while the online livestream is open to all.

About the WHO Global School on Refugee and Migrant Health
Launched in 2020, the Global School is WHO’s flagship learning program under the Health and Migration Special Initiative. It supports knowledge exchange, technical learning and peer collaboration across countries. Previous editions were hosted in Switzerland, Jordan, Bangladesh, Senegal and Colombia, focusing on primary health care, Universal Health Coverage, human resources for health, and social determinants of health.
