The GCF Internship Programme (Paid)

The GCF Internship Programme is designed for highly motivated Master’s and PhD students, as well as recent graduates, from all backgrounds. The Fund strongly encourages applications from nationals of developing countries and individuals with diverse academic and cultural experiences.

Internship Benefits

Internship Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be enrolled in a Master’s or PhD programme, or be a recent graduate

  • Have academic training relevant to GCF’s mission (climate, environment, finance, data, law, policy, engineering, IT, communications, etc.)

  • Demonstrate excellent English proficiency

  • Be available to work on-site in Songdo, South Korea

Internship Recruitment Timeline (Annual Cycle)

  • December – Early January: Internship applications open

  • February – May: Screening, assessments, and interviews

  • July: Cohort begins (individual start dates may vary)
