The Youth Ambassadors Program is designed to cultivate a cohort of young leaders who possess a strong sense of civic responsibility, a commitment to community service, an awareness of global issues, and exemplary interpersonal leadership skills. Through immersive exchange experiences, participants gain valuable insights into diverse cultures, foster mutual understanding, and forge lasting connections with peers from the United States and other countries in the Western Hemisphere.

Exchange Opportunities:

Participants have the chance to travel to the United States from various countries in the Americas, with exchange dates tailored to each program. Whether you’re from Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Canada, Haiti, or any other participating nation, there’s a program designed to suit your interests and schedule.

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for the program, youth participants must:

• Be high school students aged between 15 and 18 years old at the start of the exchange.
• Have at least one semester of school remaining after program participation.
• Demonstrate leadership potential, a commitment to community service, and an interest in the program theme.
• Possess proficiency in the language of the exchange (English, Spanish, or French).

Adult educator participants must meet similar criteria and serve as mentors to support and guide youth participants throughout the exchange experience
