Health professionals across Africa now have a unique opportunity to advance their skills through CPD-eligible short courses offered by the School of Public Health (SPH), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana, under the Africa Health Collaborative initiative. These highly competitive professional development programmes are designed to strengthen health systems, improve service delivery, and build leadership capacity across the continent.
The short courses form part of a broader initiative to develop specialised competencies in Health Systems and Services Management, implemented by SPH-KNUST in collaboration with the Centre for Capacity Building and Innovation (CCBI) under the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, KNUST, and the University of Toronto (UoT), Canada. Additional partners include the Technische Universität Berlin (TUB), Germany, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (NIPH), and the Ministry of Health, Ghana (HTA Secretariat).
This programme is supported by the KNUST Mastercard Foundation Africa Higher Education Health Collaborative and the DAAD-funded Accelerating Capacity-building in Health Systems Research and Management in Africa project, making it one of the most impactful capacity-building initiatives under the Africa Health Collaborative framework.
