IBM India is seeking a Regional Intelligence and Crisis Analyst for the Corporate Security Intelligence team in Bangalore, Karnataka. This position plays a critical role in monitoring, analyzing, and managing emerging risks to ensure organizational resilience and operational continuity.
Role Overview
The Intelligence and Crisis Analyst is responsible for identifying early indicators of potential crises, maintaining and updating regional crisis management protocols, and coordinating response efforts across local and global teams. The role also involves leveraging AI and advanced intelligence tools to enhance situational awareness and decision-making capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Intelligence Monitoring and Analysis

Monitor open-source intelligence, government alerts, and proprietary data feeds.

Identify emerging risks, including political, technological, and environmental threats.

Produce actionable intelligence briefings for regional stakeholders.
Crisis Preparedness and Response

Maintain, test, and refine regional crisis management playbooks and escalation protocols.

Lead or support crisis response efforts, ensuring clear and timely communication.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance response effectiveness.
Stakeholder Coordination

Serve as a liaison between regional teams and IBM’s global crisis and intelligence office.

Facilitate training, tabletop exercises, and after-action reviews.

Develop strong working relationships with authorities, NGOs, and industry partners.
Documentation and Reporting

Maintain detailed records of intelligence assessments, crisis events, and response actions.

Prepare post-incident reports and lessons learned to improve preparedness.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Relations, Security Management, Emergency Management, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in intelligence analysis, crisis management, or emergency response.

Strong knowledge of regional political, social, and security dynamics.

Proficiency in intelligence and data analysis tools.

Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.

Fluency in English; regional languages are an advantage.

Knowledge of technical crisis management standards (e.g., ISO 22361) is preferred.
