Nearly $1.58 million in scholarship funds has been awarded to 30 nonprofit colleges and universities across Nebraska by EducationQuest Foundation for the 2025-26 academic year.
The funds are designated for Nebraska undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need. Each college selects students to receive scholarships based on several criteria.
Vice President of Grants and Scholarships Eric Drumheller said, “An investment in Nebraska’s students is an investment in Nebraska’s future. By partnering with Nebraska’s colleges and universities, we’re removing financial barriers to ensure more students can access and complete a degree that will change the trajectory of their lives and strengthen our communities.
Since the scholarship program began in 1999, EducationQuest Foundation has awarded 30,100 scholarships worth more than $33.6 million.
