Monroe Community Credit Union has awarded $1,000 scholarships to 10 students, according to an announcement.
The recipients were selected based on academic excellence, community involvement and a written essay.
“MCCU is honored to award these scholarships to these exceptional students from our local community,” Kristine Brenner, CEO of MCCU, said in the announcement. “We are committed to investing in our community and empowering the next generation of leaders.”
