The Oakville Soccer Club has awarded 10 scholarships worth $1,000 to members of their organization.
All Scholarships were given out to Grade 12 students that are moving to post-secondary programs in the fall.
Recipients needed to submit an application to the scholarship program, and all applications were viewed by a selection committee comprised of longtime OSC executives.
Receiving the scholarships are the players listed below:
The club has been giving out 10 scholarships at the end of the soccer season for nearly 20 years and they have awarded over $200,000 in scholarships.
“We’re proud to recognize this year’s scholarship recipients. Their hard work and commitment to their goals are impressive, and we’re pleased to support them as they continue their academic pursuits," said OSC’s Executive Director Katryna Indewey.
"These individuals reflect the values of OSC and the Oakville community, and we’re confident they’ll continue to achieve great things. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours.”
