WALDORF, Md. — Eleven students from across Southern Maryland have been named recipients of the 2025 Dunkin’ DMV Regional Scholarship, recognizing their academic excellence, leadership and community service.
Selected from a pool of more than 1,800 applicants, these local students are among 50 high school and college scholars awarded $2,500 each to pursue undergraduate studies at accredited two- or four-year institutions or vocational-technical schools this fall. The program, presented by Dunkin’ and Scholarship America, distributes a total of $125,000 in scholarships throughout the Washington, D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia region.

Now in its fifth year, the Dunkin’ DMV Regional Scholarship Program has awarded $475,000 to 190 students since 2021. The initiative was created by Dunkin’s DMV-area franchisees to help ease the financial burden of higher education for students in the region.
The 2025 scholarship recipients are being recognized at two award ceremonies. The first was held Monday, July 14, at M&T Bank Stadium. A second celebration will take place Wednesday, July 23, at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. Members of the media are invited to attend.
