
PONTIAC — The Livingston County Association for Home and Community Education, or HCE, recently awarded its 2025 $1,000 student scholarships.
One of those recipients was Brooke Fox of Saunemin. Fox is the daughter of Richard and Julie Fox. She is a 2022 graduate of Pontiac Township High School and will be a senior this fall at Hope College in Holland, Michigan. She plans to become a veterinarian.
A $1,000 student scholarship was also awarded to Allie Schneider of Forrest. She is the daughter of Mark and Natalie Schneider and a 2025 graduate of Providence Christian Academy. She will be attending Heartland Community College and hopes to become a counselor.
