WOODBRIDGE, VA — Two students from a Prince William County school were among 10 winners of the 2025 Dunkin’ DMV Regional Scholarship in the Northern Virginia and Fredericksburg area.
Dunkin’ and the DC region franchisees announced the $2,500 scholarship winners in D.C., Maryland and Virginia on Wednesday. Dunkin’ and Scholarship America had chosen 50 winners from over 1,800 applicants “based on their academic achievements, demonstrated leadership, and commitment to their schools and local communities.” The awards to high school and college students throughout D.C., Maryland and Virginia total $125,000 and can be used for part-time or full-time undergraduate study at a college, university, or vocational-technical school.
“The Dunkin’ DMV Regional Scholarship Program is part of our ongoing commitment to support students in our communities, help them pursue their goals, and build a strong foundation for a bright and successful future,” said Jamie Struwe, Dunkin’ senior field marketing manager. “Our franchisees are passionate about investing in the next generation of leaders in our community, and this program allows them to give back to the people and neighborhoods that fuel their businesses.”
There were two winners from Prince William County’s C.D. Hylton High School — Baylee Peeler and Eliana Latorre. Peeler attends Northern Virginia Community College and is part of the Class of 2027. Latorre will be attending University of Virginia as part of the Class of 2029.
Other Virginia students named as Dunkin’ DMV Scholarship winners are:

D.C., Maryland and Virginia Dunkin’ franchisees founded the Dunkin’ DMV Regional Scholarship Program in 2021 to help ease the financial burden of college for students in the region. To date, the program has awarded $475,000 in scholarships to 190 students in the region.
Scholarship winners are being honored at two events, one of which was held at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on Monday. The second will take place on Wednesday, July 23 at Nationals Park.
