Julia Weller and Keegan Diehl, both 2025 Graduates of Logan Elm High School, were awarded a $1000.00 scholarship by the GFWC Circleville Junior Women’s Club. The presentation was made by Lisa Hedrick, on behalf of the club members at the school awards ceremony. Julia was awarded the Martha Poling scholarship which is in honor of the first club President. Keegan received the CJW Club scholarship for his impressive interview and plans. With strong community and school support both of these students have a good base to succeed.
These two students were chosen from 26 applicants. The criteria used in their selection included extra curricular activities, character, financial need, school participation, studies, future plans and volunteer community service. Both students excelled in their school and community. Julia is studying Hospitality Management at the Ohio University Campus in Athens and her parents are Brian and Betsy Weller. Keegan is at The Ohio State University to study Agriscience Education and his parents are Todd and Erin Diehl.
The GFWC Circleville Junior Women’s Club congratulates these students and wishes them success as they reach for their goals at their chosen colleges.
Applications for the 2026 Seniors will be available by December 15th at the Pickaway County school’s Guidance Office.
