Ramstein Air Base, Germany – February 19, 2025 – The Ramstein Officers’ Spouses’ Club (ROSC) is proud to announce the launch of its 2025 ROSC Scholarships, formerly known as KMC Scholarships, on Friday, February 14, 2025. These scholarships provide an opportunity for eligible Department of Defense (DOD) dependents connected to the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC) to receive financial support for their academic endeavors.
The ROSC Scholarship Committee, composed of dedicated members representing ROSC, oversees the selection process. Scholarship funds are made available through ROSC’s community grants program funded through proceeds from the annual Ramstein Bazaar, which supports both scholarships and grants for organizations throughout the KMC area.
ROSC Scholarships are awarded strictly on merit and academic achievement, ensuring a fair and unbiased selection process. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, or disability, and financial need is not a determining factor.
In 2024, the KMC Scholarship Committee awarded $75,000 to recipients including spouses, university students, and graduating high school seniors.
The Ramstein Officers’ Spouses’ Club remains committed to fostering educational opportunities for military dependents and strengthening the KMC community. Additional details, including eligibility requirements and application procedures, can be found here.
Scholarship applications are open from: February 14 – and close on March 23 at 23:59 (CET)
