Twenty-two Montgomery County Public School students across eight schools have each earned $2,500 scholarships from the National Merit Scholarship Corp.

Enclave residents worried by conditions, upcoming sale

Tenants at the Enclave housing complex in Silver Spring have faced years of landlord disinvestment, leading to issues including vermin and mold, and now are preparing for a contracted sale of the property.

Silver Spring man sentenced to 55 years

A Silver Spring resident will serve 55 years in prison for his role in the 2022 murder of Jose Osvaldo Genao Romero. 
A co-defendant was sentenced in March to life in prison suspended all but 60 years. (WUSA9)
