The Pest Management Foundation has created three scholarships as part of its new endowed scholarship program.
The foundation announced the endowed scholarship program at PestWorld 2022 to allow donors to establish a scholarship fund custom named for individuals, companies or organizations. Recipient criteria is determined by the donor and flexible to each award. Gifts may be paid all at once, or throughout a five-year period. Donors must meet a minimum of $25,000 to establish an endowed scholarship.
The three new scholarships are the Jim Ogle Scholarship, NPMA Bright Futures Scholarship and the Dr. Phil Koehler Scholarship.
The scholarships represent a commitment to the development of the next generation of pest management professionals. Donors support students pursuing higher education as well as parents and families working in the pest management industry.
All applications for the upcoming year will open on Oct. 1. Application details can be found at NPMAfoundation.org.
