34 North Central Florida students named semifinalists in National Merit Scholarship Program – WCJB | TV20

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – 34 students from north central florida are being recognized for their academic excellence.
They are among the 16,000 high school seniors named as semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program.
The list includes seven students at the Frazer School in Gainesville, as well as five each at Buchholz and Gainesville High School.
About 2,500 National Merit Scholarship winners will be announced beginning in April.

Buchholz High School: Annika Caedington, Pranay Gadikota, Shailey Karri, Evan Rotchford and Keith Zheng;
Eastside High School: Francheska Melendez, Irma Rahman, Juhyung Seong and Miles Smith;
Gainesville High School: Rowan Archer, Lina Dos Santos, Madeleine Goodrich, Irma Impink and Elizabeth Rant;
Professional Academies Magnet at Loften High School: Logan Rockwell;
Santa Fe High School: Robert Hu
Marion County:
Vanguard High School: Noah Archer
West Port High School: Gabriella Capobianco
Belleview High School: Patrick Lucaric
Forest High School: Leah McGinley, Ethan Rubin
