CAMBRIDGE − Guernsey County 4-H Council recently awarded $3,000 in college scholarships to five Guernsey County 4-H members. The scholarships are based on 4-H leadership activities, 4-H honors, community service, and potential for success.
The 2025 recipients are:
● Alexx Combs is the daughter of Edward Combs and Shannon Fondale. She is a member of the Seneca Doers 4-H Club. Alexx will be attending Muskingum University this fall and plans to major in finance.
● Layken Lasko is the daughter of Shawn and Kelly Lasko. She is a member of the Seneca Doers 4-H Club. Layken will be attending Muskingum University this fall and plans to major in nursing.
● Madison Peters is the daughter of Rachael and Cecil Peters. She is a member of the Green Acres 4-H Club. Madison plans to attend Belmont University this fall and plans to major in Pre-Law and English.
● Lindsey Smith is the daughter of Tiffany Smith. She is a member of the Full Circle 4-H Club. Lindsey will be attending Wilmington College this fall and plans to major in agriculture business.
● Avarie Wellman is the daughter of Timothy and Amanda Wellman. She is a member of the All American Misfits 4-H Club. Avarie will be attending Miami University this fall and plans to major in human capital management and leadership.
