Six student musicians have been awarded the William A. & Frances Harkness Wolf Music Scholarship.
Founded in 2022, the program offers competitive summer camp and college scholarships to middle school and high school music students of teachers who belong to the Lancaster Music Teachers Association.
This year’s collegiate scholarship winners are as follows:
— David Ferre, student of Candy Tame, plans to earn a degree in music education at a four-year university. He’s a senior at Penn Manor High School.

— Alliyah Beachy, student of Cheryl Faul Braun, plans to attend Lancaster Bible College to study music education. Beachy is a senior and is homeschooled.

This year’s Junior Division Summer Camp Scholarship winners are as follows:

The students will perform at an Awards Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at Lancaster Church of the Brethren, 1601 Sunset Ave., Lancaster.
