HARTFORD — Hartford Union High School (HUHS) held their 13th annual HUHS Foundation Senior Scholarship Program on Friday, during which 69 seniors received over $700,000 in scholarships, thanks to local contributors.
The program began with the playing of the national anthem by the HUHS Band, following a pre-ceremony piano performance from Annie Nettesheim, and a welcome from Principal Kelly Lam.
Then, scholarships were presented by Audra Schaefer and Riya Kalluvila to the following students: Aurora Medical Center Washington County Volunteers Scholarship Emma Polanco Betty and Carl Labuwi Scholarship Connor Ziman Brian J.
