The burden of paying for tuition won’t be so burdensome for 73 students attending Lakeshore Technical College.  Those students were awarded Kohler Foundation Advantage Scholarships, a new program funded by the Foundation for the 2024-25 school year.
23 of those students are entering LTC after graduating high school, and their scholarships are renewable as long as the students continue meeting scholarship requirements, meaning that they could graduate with little or no debt.  Another 50 awardees are continuing their LTC education and will each receive $1,000 for either the fall of 2024 or spring of ‘25 semester, helping to close the gap on their financial needs.
Dr. Paul Carlsen, LTC President, thanked the Kohler foundation for its investment in students and communities through its Advantage Scholarships, which the current awardees will apply to 14 unique and broad-ranging programs.
