LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – On Saturday, those who couldn’t wait any longer could get their holiday fix at the Fall into Christmas Vendor Market.
The event, hosted by the Fort Sill Patriot Spouses’ Club, featured snacks and treats, apparel like t-shirts and jewelry as well as decor and a whole lot more.
The event was held at FISTA from 9 a.m. until 4 in the evening.
Officials with the event say the funds raised from vendor spots goes back into their scholarship and grant funds.
“Last year, we gave $18,000 scholarships to five dependents, they were either children or spouses in the area… either furthering their career, whether that be a four-year university or a technical college,” explained Monica Campbell, 2nd Vice President of the Fort Sill Patriot Spouses’ Club.
Campbell also advised everyone to be on the lookout for details for a spring event through their social media.
