Airports Council International And ACI Fund Empower Women in Aviation With New Scholarship – Travel And Tour World

Airports Council International is thrilled to introduce a new scholarship initiative under the ACI Fund, dedicated to advancing opportunities for Women in Aviation. This prestigious scholarship is being launched through the collaboration of ACI and Dr. Luigi G. (Joe) Sulmona, who together are the originators and financial sponsors.
The scholarship is tailored to support women in aviation from countries identified by the United Nations as Least Developed Countries (LDC), Small Island Developing States (SIDS), or Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC), all of which are prioritized by the ACI Fund.
This one-time award will honor five exceptional women who have shown notable achievements either within the ACI Airport Management Professional Accreditation Program (AMPAP) Graduate Airport Management Studies (GAMS) course or through their AMPAP application portfolios. Each recipient will receive a grant of US$10,000 to further their professional development through ACI’s aviation training courses.
This scholarship aligns with the ACI Fund’s commitment to promoting airport safety, security, management, economic growth, environmental sustainability, and service excellence across member airports in developing regions. By offering this scholarship, the ACI Fund aims to empower women in aviation, facilitating their career advancement and strengthening professional expertise within the global aviation community.
