MIAMI, Okla. (KOAM) – The NEO Development Foundation’s Golden Gala set a fundraising record, generating over $120,000 to support scholarships for Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) students.
The event featured auctions, student testimonies, and a surge of end-of-night donations, surpassing previous milestones.
NEO President Kyle Stafford emphasized the transformative impact of scholarships, saying, “The generosity of our community removes financial barriers and creates life-changing opportunities for our students.”
Ryan Orcutt, Executive Director of the Foundation, praised the donors and sponsors for making the evening a success.
Student speaker Jiro Cardenas shared how scholarships have shaped his journey at NEO, highlighting their importance in supporting academic success.
Proceeds from the event will continue to make higher education more accessible for NEO students.
