2023-2024 Elaine B. Hancock Endowed Scholarship
The 2023-2024 Elaine B. Hancock Endowed Scholarship is open to African-American students at UNCF member institutions and/or Howard University. Closes Mar. 4.
2023-2024 Walter and Shelia Umphrey Last Dollar Endowed Scholarship
The Walter and Shelia Umphrey Last Dollar Endowed Scholarship has been created to benefit students from the Golden Triangle communities in Texas and should be used to help close the financial gap for college juniors and seniors attending Huston-Tillotson University (Austin), Wiley College (Marshall), Texas College (Tyler), Jarvis Christian College (Hawkins), Baylor University (Waco), or Lamar University (Beaumont). Closes Mar. 4.
2023-2024 Eunice Walker Johnson Scholarship
The Eunice Walker Johnson Endowed Scholarship Fund was developed to award need-based scholarships of up to $5,000 each to undergraduate students attending Selma University or a UNCF Member Institution. Closes Mar. 4.
2023-2024 Malcolm X Scholarship for “Exceptional Courage”
The Malcolm X Scholarship for “Exceptional Courage” is directed towards undergraduate students, who are enrolled at one of the UNCF Institutions. This scholarship was developed by Spike Lee to increase the awareness about the life and contributions of Malcolm X within society. The program will provide scholarship support for students, who have overcome difficult circumstances or challenges in pursuit of their college education. Closes Mar. 4.
2023-2024 Nordson Builds Scholarship Program
In partnership with UNCF, Nordson Corporation has developed the Nordson Builds Scholarship Program to provide need-based scholarships to African American college students who are open to all STEM and Liberal Arts majors. This scholarship opportunity is open to students who are enrolled full-time as undergraduate students at any U.S. located, accredited, four-year or two-year college or university. Closes Mar. 4.
2023-2024 Richard F. Freeman Scholarship Fund
The Richard F. Freeman Scholarship Fund is designed to provide financial assistance for deserving students from Southeast Michigan who are afforded the opportunity to earn a college degree. Closes Mar. 5.
2023-2024 VCHA Community Health Scholarship
This generous Virginia Community Healthcare Scholarship will provide three (3) need-based, renewable scholarships to graduate/professional students in the fields of Dentistry, Public health, Psychology, Medicine, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Social Work. Closes Mar. 7.
2023-2024 Northwest Indiana Scholarship Program
Northwest Indiana Scholarship Program provides up to $5,000 need-based scholarship awards to selected applicants from the Northwest region of Indiana. Students who are permanent residents of Lake, LaPorte, and Porter Counties are eligible for this scholarship. Students who have received this scholarship in the past MUST re-apply for consideration. Closes Mar. 7.
2024-2025 AAP-UNCF Internship
The AAP-UNCF Internship Program, sponsored by the Association of American Publishers (AAP), is seeking college juniors and seniors with an interest in pursuing a career in the publishing industry. Candidates will be selected to intern at AAP member companies for the summer. Closes Mar. 11.
2023-2024 Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation Scholarship
The Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation Scholarship will provide financial support Black/African American students who are enrolled full-time as a junior attending Bennett College, North Carolina Central University, North Carolina A&T State University, Saint Augustine’s University, Tennessee State University, Tuskegee University, Cheyney University, Florida A&M University, Norfolk State University, or Wiley College. Closes Mar. 14.
2023-2024 UBS/PaineWebber Scholarship
UBS/PaineWebber is one of the leading global financial firms that provides a wide range of services to corporations, governments, institutions and affluent individuals. The UBS/PaineWebber Scholarship will be directed to current sophomores or juniors, who demonstrate outstanding academic performance within the various business disciplines at the targeted UNCF Institutions. The selected recipients will be awarded during the 2023-24 Academic Year. Closes Mar. 14.
2023-2024 UNCF JANSPORT Scholarship Program
The UNCF JanSport Scholarship program is designed to provide financial support of up to $4,400.00 for college freshman who are enrolled in a UNCF member institution for the 2023-2024 academic year. Closes Mar. 15.
2023-2024 UNCF/Congressman John Lewis Scholarship Fund
The UNCF/ Congressman John Lewis Scholarship Fund will provide scholarship support to deserving minority students who are enrolled at a UNCF member college or university. Closes Mar. 18.
2024-2025 UNCF Domino’s Pizza Scholarship
The UNCF Domino’s Pizza Scholarship was established in collaboration with UNCF to provide scholarships to college juniors & seniors who are attending a UNCF member HBCU or another four-year, accredited HBCU. Closes Mar. 29.
2024-2025 UNCF/Teradyne STEM Scholarship Program
The UNCF/Teradyne STEM Scholarship Program will provide need-based support of up to $5,000 for Black/African American students classified as a rising junior or rising senior and majoring in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) field at an HBCU. Closes Apr. 1.
2024-2025 The Robert J. Weiler Sr. Minority Student Teacher Scholarship Program
This is a renewable need-based scholarship for Black/African American college students who are residents of the state of Ohio and who are interested in becoming educators. Closes Apr. 1.
