
Lauryn Abozeid joined the 27 News team in June 2025 as a Multimedia Journalist and Digital Content Producer. A proud graduate of the University of Arizona, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in Communications.
During her time at Arizona, Lauryn was actively involved in student media through UATV3, where she covered sideline reporting for all Arizona sports and reported on a wide range of community-focused stories. She also gained valuable experience interning at Tucson Spotlight, where she covered city council meetings and reported on key local issues.
VERONA, Wis. (WKOW) — Feller Fest was celebrated this Sunday at Lake Louie Brewing Co.
The event featured live music, kids’ activities, and a raffle to benefit Feller School. Attendees enjoyed live music by “The Ron Denson Band” while volunteers ran games for children.
A gift basket raffle was held to support student scholarships, teacher training, and classroom needs at Feller School. Grilled brats and hot dogs were for sale, along with locally-brewed beer from Wisconsin Brewing Company and Lake Louie Brewing.
Feller School is a non-profit private school in Wisconsin for K-5 students with challenges in learning to read. The school aims to empower students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia by building strong academic foundations. Feller School focuses on teaching reading, writing, spelling, and math using the Science of Reading principles and the Logic of English curriculum.
“Our youngest daughter, Avery, was diagnosed with dyslexia this school has just been instrumental and life changing for us,” said Feller School Parent Mark Boardman. “It’s just been incredible to watch her grow.”
