Introduction
The TaDA Textile & Design Alliance Artist-in-Residence programme in Arbon, Switzerland, offers six emerging creatives—both Swiss and international—the opportunity to dive into the dynamic world of Eastern Swiss textile and design culture. This three-month residency fosters experimentation, collaboration with local textile firms, and culminates in a public showcase via the “TaDA Spinnerei” event (tada-residency.ch).
Eligibility
To qualify for the TaDA Residency, applicants must:
- Work in art, design, textile design, architecture, literature, performing arts, or across disciplines (فرصة, on-the-move.org).
- Demonstrate strong interest in the textile industry, textile culture, and sustainability, ideally with basic technical knowledge of textile production
- Proficient in English or German
- Propose an experimental, collaborative project with a connection to TaDA’s partners (فرصة).

Scholarships / Benefits
The residency is fully funded, including:
- Free accommodation in Arbon, just minutes from your workspace and Lake Constance (Edu Live, فرصة, tada-residency.ch).

- Monthly stipend of CHF 2,000 for living expenses (Edu Live, فرصة).
- Access to a fully equipped workspace at Kreativzentrum ZIK (former Saurer factory) (tada-residency.ch).
- Professional mentoring by textile designer Martin Leuthold, TaDA team, and external experts (Edu Live, فرصة).
- Opportunity to use technical infrastructure from 12–13 partner companies and present your work at “TaDA Spinnerei”
