The Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) is offering scholarships to exceptional students worldwide, including all Arab countries, to support graduate study in the 2026 academic year. These scholarships provide full financial support, covering tuition fees, and living expenses, with the stipend amount varying according to department, programme, academic supervisor, or level of research involvement.
These scholarships are for international students who do not hold Korean citizenship; applicants with Korean ancestry must demonstrate that neither of their parents holds Korean citizenship.
Applicants may pursue master’s degrees, master’s-Ph.D. integrated degrees, or Ph.D. studies in any of the international graduate degree programmes offered by KAIST. These include courses in the natural sciences, life sciences, engineering, liberal arts, and business.
Applicants are expected to demonstrate a strong academic background and financial need, and preference is given to those who share the university’s mission of cultivating scientific talent that contributes to both national development and the wider progress of society.
Founded in 1971 and located in Daejeon, South Korea, KAIST is a leading public research university recognised globally for its excellence in science, engineering, and technology.
