CHEBOYGAN — The Cheboygan County Community Foundation will host its biennial Hollywood Nights fundraiser Oct. 4 at the K of C Hall in Cheboygan.
According to a Sept. 23 news release, proceeds will support student scholarships, educational grants, workforce readiness programs and community development projects.
Guests will enjoy a full-course dinner with appetizers, desserts and a cash bar, plus a wine pull. A one-carat diamond donated by Reusch Jewelers will be awarded to one guest who purchases a glass of champagne. Entertainment will include a “Paint and Sing” experience, a magic show and silent and live auctions featuring local goods and experiences. Attendees are encouraged to wear glamorous, red-carpet attire. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with appetizers served at 6:30 p.m.
“Cheboygan’s future rests on two pillars—strong educational opportunities that uplift our community and a resilient local economy,” Executive Director John Wheaton said. “Hollywood Nights brings neighbors together to invest in both at the same time.”
Tickets cost $100 through Sept. 24 and $120 afterward. They can be purchased at cheboyganfoundation.org by clicking “Buy Gala Tickets.”
Founded in 2011 by the Cheboygan Economic Development Group, the foundation funds projects that expand education, grow economic opportunity and build resilience across the region.
