MIDDLEBORO — Students at Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School joined forces with the Oak Point community to demolish a decades-old bottle redemption shed.
The shed was used to return bottles to the residential community’s fundraising partner, Muckey’s Liquors. The shed helped raise funds for scholarships benefiting area high school students.
Oak Point residents paid for materials to replace the outdated shed, and Bristol-Plymouth students will rebuild it while gaining class credit.
