Frontier Cooperative has announced the recipients of its scholarship program, recognizing 25 area students.
Each scholarship, valued at $1,000, is designated to support the pursuit of further education beyond the high school level. Following a thorough review of applications, Frontier’s Board of Directors selected the recipients based on various criteria, including minimum GPA requirements, a commitment to continued education with a focus on agricultural-related studies, and active involvement in the local agricultural and Frontier Cooperative community.
Following is a list of the area scholarship winners, along with their parents, high schools, and intended colleges:
Aquinas Catholic High School: Rebecca Andel, daughter of Jerome and Patricia Andel, Central Community College; Dylan Andel, son of Kevin and Michelle Andel, SCC – Beatrice.
Humphrey Public Schools: Christina Brandl, daughter of Tim and Anita Brandl, Northeast Community College.
Lakeview High School: Henry Renner, son of Brian and Regina Renner, SCC – Milford; Gunnar Wolfe, son of Drew and Kristi Wolfe, University of Nebraska – Lincoln.
Osceola High School: Hudson Prososki, son of Michael and Cheri Prososki, Northeast Community College.
