May 24, 2024 – This summer, students are encouraged to complete a SF Foundation Scholarship application by June 15 for Fall 2024. Applicants who apply for any SF Foundation scholarship will automatically be connected to any other SF Foundation scholarship for which they qualify.
Award letters will be emailed to students’ SF email addresses who are chosen to receive a scholarship award from the Foundation announcing the name and award offered, as well as specific scholarship information, responsibilities and the criteria for that scholarship award.
Thank you letters must be received in the Foundation office by the date stated in the award email. If not, scholarships will be forfeited and awarded to another student.

Scholarships offer a fantastic chance to earn a valuable education without the burden of debt. These awards are given to students based on various criteria like financial need and personal achievements. Best of all, scholarships are essentially free money. You never have to pay them back!
SF graduate Samantha Long was encouraged to apply for the Women’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) Scholarship. Winning this scholarship sparked her dream of opening her own garage.
“It’ll be a little shop where I can work on cars and trucks,” Long said. “My daughter can hang out there after school, too.”
This financial opportunity allowed Long to overcome monetary hardships and earn her A.A.S. in Automotive Service Management Technology.
“I feel like the college really wants its students to succeed,” Long said.
