We want to congratulate all our 4-H members this year graduating: Bernice Gonzalez, Bradley Bakken, Brinley Patterson, Camryn Green, Corley Callahan, Devon Whitmire, Jaycee Wimmer, Jenna Lindig, Joseph Tate, Kaylee Beason, Logan Hodgson, Macie Vaculin, Mason Leifeste, Robert Miller, Seally Smith, and Stiles Patin.
This year, Milam County 4-H seniors will graduate with over $88,800 in scholarships from their 4-H involvement!!
These amazing six 4-H members include Bradley Bakken, Corley Callahan, Camryn Green, Mason Leifeste, Robert Miller, and Macie Vaculin. The following scholarships are the ones they have received that have been based on their 4-H involvement. These fine youth have received many other scholarships.
Bradley Bakken is the son of Buck and Marie Bakken and is a member of the Gause 4-H Club. He will be graduating from Milano High School and attending Blinn College and majoring in Visualization. He received the following scholarships: Texas 4-H Foundation/San Antonio Livestock Exposition – $20,000 and Milam County 4-H Chris Holcombe Memorial – $500.
Corley Callahan is the daughter of Billy Mac and Cassie and is a member of the Cameron 4-H Club. She will be graduating from CH Yoe High School and attending Texas A&M University and majoring in Education/Teacher. She received the following scholarships: Texas 4-H Foundation/Davidson Foundation – $10,000, Milam County 4-H Chris Holcombe Memorial – $500, and Cameron 4-H Club – $300.
Camryn Green is the daughter of Dennis and Misty Green and is a member of the Cameron 4-H Club. She will be graduating as a valedictorian from C.H. Yoe High School and attending Baylor University and majoring in business management. She received the following scholarships: Texas 4-H Foundation/Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo – $20,000, Milam County 4-H Chris Holcombe Memorial – $500, and Cameron 4-H Club scholarship – $500.
Mason Leifeste is the son of Alan and Samantha Leifeste and is a member of the Cameron 4-H Club. He will be graduating from C.H. Yoe High School and attending Texas A&M University majoring in Ag Systems Management with a minor in Construction Science. He received the following scholarships: San Antonio Livestock Exhibitor Scholarship – $20,000, Ft Worth Commercial Heifer Sale Scholarship – $2,000, Byron Wise Memorial Scholarship – $2,000, Blackland Income Growth Scholarship – $1,000, Carol Doughty Memorial Charolais Scholarship – $500, Milam County 4-H Chris Holcombe Memorial – $500, and Cameron 4-H Club Scholarship – $500
Robert Miller II is the son of Robert and Elizabeth Miller and is a member of the Gause 4-H Club. He will be graduating from Milano High School as a valedictorian and attending the University of Texas and majoring in Computer Science and Engineering. He received the following scholarships: Texas 4-H Foundation/McLean Estate – $5,000, Post Oak Water Savannah Scholarship (Texas 4-H Water Ambassador) – $3,750, and Milam County 4-H Chris Holcombe Memorial – $500.
Macie Vaculin is the daughter of Brandon and Choya Vaculin and is a member of the Cameron 4-H Club. She will be graduating from C.H. Yoe High School and attending Texas A&M University and majoring in agribusiness. She received the following scholarships: Milam County 4-H Chris Holcombe Memorial – $500, and Cameron 4-H Club scholarship – $250.
We are so proud of these youth! Most of them have been in 4-H since they were in kindergarten working on their 4-H career to one day receive amazing scholarships!
