MiEnergy Cooperative recently awarded $80,000 in scholarships to high school students in southeastern Minnesota and northeastern Iowa. Local recipients of the 2025 MiEnergy Cooperative Community Service Scholarships include:

The Reading Center recently awarded the 2025 Pat Lund Memorial Post Secondary Scholarship to two area students.
Gavin Hostager, a Class of 2025 graduate of Zumbrota-Mazeppa High School, and Logan Atkinson, a Class of 2024 graduate of Mayo High School were presented the scholarships May 28 during The Reading Center Board of Directors meeting.
The scholarship awards are for up to $1,000 per year, and are renewable for up to four years of study.
