The Wisconsin FFA Foundation recently awarded $22,900 in post-secondary scholarships to 28 Wisconsin FFA members.
Scholarships are awarded to seniors in high school or students currently enrolled in a university/technical college. They must be in good standing with the Wisconsin Association of FFA and maintain an acceptable scholastic record. Visit wisconsinaged.org/foundation/ for more information.
The Wisconsin Rural Opportunities Foundation Inc. recently announced five recipients of the Wisconsin Rural Opportunities Foundation Inc. Premier Scholarship Awards Program.
The award program provides high school seniors from rural Wisconsin with $3,000 each to help cover the costs of post-secondary tuition and educational expenses. Key in the selection process is the student’s intent to return to rural Wisconsin upon graduation to help sustain its vitality. Visit www.wrof.org for more information.
GreenStone Farm Credit Services recently awarded 21 high school seniors with scholarships.
The high school seniors demonstrated outstanding dedication to coursework, extracurricular activities, leadership and a strong commitment to pursuing careers in agriculture. Recipients received either a $2,000 or $1,000 award to support their education.
In addition, four outstanding college students were awarded the Dave Armstrong Scholarship, worth $5,000 each, which aims to recognize and support students continuing to pursue careers in agriculture, timber and natural resources.
Each student selected for either of GreenStone’s scholarships met specific criteria, including residency within GreenStone’s territory, competitive GPA, and plans to pursue an agriculture or natural resources-related field.
